Ekaterinburg

Reflecting the city’s strong growth and population in excess of 1.3mio, the company acquired 42.3ha of prime residential land in the Sredneuralsk suburb of Ekaterinburg, 14km from the city. Ekaterinburg, a major industrial and logistics hub in the Ural region of Russia, is Russia's 4th most populous and 3rd wealthiest city after Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Over the 5 years the city experienced strong growth preceding our investment driven by the metallurgy, chemical, heavy-manufacturing and transportation industries.

The site is in a very good location close to Sredneuralsk, an established middle-class area with a population of 20,000. It enjoys direct road frontage to a main feeder road to the city, and is close to an existing but rarely-used railway line which is intended to host a light-railway connecting Ekaterinburg city with this suburb within 5 years. It is planned that a station will be immediately adjacent to our site.

We developed architectural plans for the site in close collaboration with Sweco, a leading Swedish architectural firm, including over 300 houses with on-site social, leisure and commercial infrastructure.
